calling ms word

[Southern at Heart]

In my VBA, how do I open up a new document from the template "My Template"
which is saved in my templates folder. I'm using office 2003 pro.

From Outlook:

Dim Wd as Word.Application
Dim Doc as Word.Document
Dim File$

File="c:\your template folder\my template.dot"

Set Wd=CreateObject("Word.Application")
Set Doc=Wd.Documents.Open(File)

BTW: For Word specific questions you might better ask in newsgroup for Word.
