CALs for Sharepoint Integration?

My company has an existing Sharepoint implementation that we have been using
to share project documents, issues logs, task lists, etc... One team site
per project.

We now want to begin using Project Server 2003 so we can do enterprise
resource pooling, etc... They also want to place a Gantt chart for each
project on its respective Sharepoint team site and maybe some actual and
variance numbers also (all linked real-time to the Project Server data)

I have several questions:

1. Is this possible?
2. What are the license implications... i.e. do we need to buy a Project CAL
for each person that accesses the Sharepoint site?

Which SharePoint? SharePoint Services or SharePoint Portal?

Sharepoint Services does not require CALs (Client Access Licenses).
SharePoint Portal does require a CAL for each and every user.

MS Project Server 2003 requires a CAL for each and every user of PWA.
PWA=Project Web Access
You have to pay twice if you have MSPS2003 and Sharepoint Portal.
If you use MSPS2003 with SharePoint Services, it's only one CAL.

Note: for MSPS2003, all users (generally PMs) of MS Project 2003
Professional comes with a license for Project and a CAL for PWA.

As for cost, you'll need to talk to your supplier...

Hope this helps.
