can´t see videos

I can´t see (the screen turns white) videos in a PPT presentations, despict
the fact that I can see it im mplayer32.exe. I can I solve this?

Probably because the path is too long.
Create a test folder in C:\.
Move both the ppt and video into the test folder.
Now, delete the video and re-insert it.
Does it work this time round?

As above but if you put both video and presentation in the same folder before
you insert then the folder will be fine in my docs or wherever if your
happier not making a folder directly on the C drive
