Can any license be used to convert the trial to a full version?

I just want to make sure if I install and start using the trial version of
Office 2007 that an Open License (for a non-profit) can be used to convert
the trial to a licensed version.

IIRC open licenses are retail licenses, so the answer should be yes,
however, you should clarify with the retailer.

Sorry, you are wrong, it does NOT work. This is so lame: MS claims the trial
can be converted to a licensed version and it is simply NOT true.

Is it the same version?

Hi Milly,

There only Pro trial available was "Office 2007 Professional" whereas the
key I have is for "Office 2007 Professional Plus". However, I could not find
a trial for "Pro Plus".

Hi Daime,

MS Office 2007 Professional Plus edition is a volume license and academic (eduction channel) product, not a retail one. The trial
editions are for the retail product line.
