Can Excel data control PPT pages?

I have a PPT presentation that has 56 slides. I want these slides to be
displayed based on a random value from a particular cell in an Excel
spreadsheet. I have the spreadsheet part working fine. Can I get the
spreadsheet cell to control which slide is to be displayed?
