can i add a graphic for a custom date to gantt chart

Hi,

i woulkd like the ganttchart to show a graphic (like milestone/deadline) at
a certain
date within the project to represent a critical date. It also means I can
see if this already happened or not and thus take action.

Is this possible at all as I can't seem to add a custom date field to the
bar styles?

Hi,

Indeed you don't have access to Datex fields in the Bar Styles definition.
Still you can use Startx and/or Finishx.

Hi Nico,

Have you tried the Deadline date? Add one to a milestone task via the Task
Information/Advanced tab. It will give you notification if the milestone
goes beyond the Deadline date. See Help for Deadline.

Good idea, but I'm already using a deadline for a date further down the
project and thus this is not possible.

There's no restriction to the number of deadlines you use - one per task.
