Is it possible to add the picture of a person to his vCArd and information in
"Contacts"?

Yes if you have 2003. There's a spot specifically for that function.

Otherwise this could be inserted as a file into a Contact card.

Please post details of your version and platform when you have a question.

Just to add a little clarification to Judy's response, Outlook does not store contact items using the vCard specification. It uses its own format. So what you have in Contacts is not an actual vCard.

Yes, if you use version 2003. Or use something like www.plaxo.com

Yes, if you use version 2003.

Not true. vCards are text-only files and do not support the adition of a
picture.

Actually, the vCard specification does support binary content. It's just that Outlook 2003 does not implementat that particular part of the vCard spec. Outlook 2007 will, through an "electronic business card" feature.
