Can I correct spelling in my registration name?

Well, thank you. Now how do I do it? I got an answer that said this "If
you're referring to the information that
appears in File=>Properties=>Author in Word, for
example that's changeable in Tools=>Options=>User Info. "
I did that and the file shows the corected name. However, when I use Outlook
and I am sending an email and I start to type in my name it gives me the
auto-complete but it still has the old registration name which is incorrect.
Is not changeable then?
Specifically, when I registered the program I typed in George Dubois. I
should have noticed it at that time but I just didn't. I should have typed in
George E. DuBois. Is it too late to correct it now? It sure would be more
convenient if the auto-complete would have the corredt version.
Thanks for you help.

Have you actually gone into Word and corrected the AutoCorrect entry?
Have you deleted the autocomplete entries? I am not entirely sure what
you are invoking in what program at this point. But you are on the right
track by including some info as to the program, version and
location(dialog box, or field) the text is appearing incorrectly.

Everyone is missing the point. Perhaps I'm not asking the question properly.
I'll try again.
When I installed MS Office 2003 Students/Teachers Edition. I typed my name
as "Geroge Dubois" where I should have typed "George E. DuBois". I left out
my middle initial and the "b" in " Bois" was supposed to be capitalized. Thus
when I check on my registration it shows registered to George Dubois.
So, what happens? When I am in Outlook and I start signing off on an eamil
and start typing my name it wants to auto-complete with "Dubois". I don't
want that spelling I want the correct spelling and capitols. Now can I chage
the spelling of ny name in the original software registration so that it will
reflect my name as I want it to show.
I have done all the other things and gone into properties and user
information and made all the necessary corrections there but the
auto-complete still reverts to the spelling as when I initially registered
the software.
If I were to uninstall MS Office can I re-install while correcting my name
without effecting all the data from my contacts and my favorites. Of course I
would back up my data first.
Thanks for your help.
George

Are you refering to the Tools, Options, Mail Format, Signatures area
perhaps? You may also look in AutoCorrect settings for the offinging
spelling. As for changing the "Registered To" I believe you would need
to edit the Registry directly to avoid having to uninstall and
reinstall. Someone here may know the direct key that would need to be
changed.
