Can I do overline text on a connector?

I am creating a functional block diagram that describes a schematic for an
electronic circuit. Some of the signals between function blocks are
inverted. The traditional method for describing this signal is with a bar
over the signal name. I think this is called overline text. Does anyone
know if this can be done in Visio?

Unforunately, Visio inly supports underline. The can cheat by changing the
single line of text into two lines with the origninal text on the bottom.
Fill the top line with underscores to make it appear that the line is an
overline to the text below.

Actually the answer you want is:
Yes, Visio (of all varieties) can do this (using the very good cheat
idea previously provided by John).

Never before have I top-posted and I only do so this time because it
might show up the fact that when people top post they don't actually
read what has been written previously.

Whoever came up with this brilliant idea of putting the answer before
the question should see a psychiatrist.

Rant over.

Paul, please pull the other one. I'm getting tired of walking in circles.
