Can I keep assigned tasks in current w/out receiving email updates

My boss wants to keep assigned tasks in Outlook current in his task folder,
but doesn't like the emails he receives. From what I can tell, the two cannot
be seperated. Anyone else have any advice?

Aloha RawMomma,

How about creating a rule in the Rules Wizard that either deletes or moves
to a subfolder those e-mail messages when they arrive?
