From "Go" menu, select "NEWS". If this is first time using function you
probably will have to go to toolbar options ( down arrow at right of
toolbar, add or remove , customize, select "go" in categories and highlight
and drag "news" up to the "Go" menu and release.
There is a manner of inserting the News command into the go menu by dragging
& dropping. But I have found that it does not work as expected consistently.
It works the first time & the next time it shows up a folder of program
files folder / office. Hence I found the following link give a means of
making this correctly & permenantly. In fact this link was provided by one

The link also provides a download of the modification to the registry which
works fine.
