I just bought office 2003, and loaded it on my lap top and my desk top. Then
lightening struck my house and my desk top was destroyed. I loaded office no
more than a week ago. Is there anyway that I can load my software on to my
new computer??

Yes, if retail product as they can be transferred to a new computer. Since
it has been less than 120 days since first activated, you will likely need
to use the telephone option you receive when you try to activate. Just tell
Microsoft what happened.

Suggest you consider a surge protector or even better a battery backup UPS.
The better companies, such as APC provide some coverage for equipment
damaged from surges including surges caused by lightning.

Amen to that - I have had to use that option at least one time - probably
more to follow.
