Office activation

I just bought a new computer and used the Office Pro 2003 disks (that
originally came with the computer I'm replacing) to load Office on to it.
Apparently I need to activate it again. (I can use it for now, but I think
that may be only temporary.) That computer is not online, nor will it be,
to protect it. I spent 20 minutes searching the MS sight for a phone number
to call to activate, but was unable to find one.

Anyone know the number, or how to find it?

With activation, you need to select "Activate by phone" method and it
gives you the phone number of your nearest Microsoft office.

To start the Product Activation Wizard:

Click Start

To start the Product Activation Wizard:

Click Start
.
Click All Programs, and then click Microsoft Office.
Select any Office program such as Microsoft Word.
When the Office programs starts, the Product Activation Wizard will
be displayed.

In the Product Activation Wizard, follow these steps:

Click I want to activate the software by telephone, and then click
Next.
Click the drop-down menu, and then select the country or region you
are from.
The Microsoft Product Activation Center phone number is displayed
under Step 1.

Good luck.

Thanks for the response, but it turns out I misled you. I forgot that in
all the shuffling around of programs and disks to the new computer, Office
did get activated (by phone).

But the End License Agreement gets displayed every time I open one of the
programs and I have to click "Agree" every time. So did something go wrong
with activation? How do I get rid of that annoying pop-up?

Yes something has gone wrong. What you need to do is to login as an
Administrator first time you use Microsoft Office Application and accept
the license agreement. Then this will save for all users on that
machine. Apparently, only the Administrator can accept the license terms.

You must have more than 1 user account on that machine:

* One being an Administrator;
* Second being an ordinary user.

you need to use the Administrator account for the first time to accept
the license.

Hope this helps.
