Can I make a calendar reminder directly from a contact form?

After speaking with a contact I would like to be able to set up a
reminder in the calendar to alert me in the future that I am due to
follow-up. Can I do this without having to go back and forth between
the two?

Try Actions | New Appointment with Contact. Or click the follow-up flag
toolbar button on the contact if you don't want an appointment.

Hello Sue, while that was helpful, I had another question associated with the
original.
I have listed in my contacts, birthdays and anniversaries. Can I have
Outlook 2003 SP1 remind me that the date is coming up or list it in my
calendar?
I have my mothers birthday and anniversary listed and the date is not 2005,
and it does not show up in the calendar. Is it possible to associate it
AUTOMATICALLY to notify me of someone's birthday or anniversary annually?
Thank you.
Matt

You would need to open the appointment and add a reminder.
