Can I re-install Office?

Big Kiwi

Hello,
After a long series of problems with computer hardware and software I have
had to reformat my hard drive foir the fourth or fifth time. Very tedious.

My problem is that the Microsoft system no appears to accept the 'Product
Key as valid" Presumably because the system thinks it has been registered
too many times.

I have tried to ask Microsoft a question about this but you have to enter
your product key, and guess what!, it isn't valid anymore.

Is there a way I can overcome this, or a way I can contact Microsoft without
a product Key, and without it taking months for a response, and without it
costing me.

The way I see it, I still own the product, I should be allowed to use it.
Shouldn't I?

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

Hi JoAnn

Thank you for that. You have been really helpful. This may seem like a
dumb question, but I don't know what the Activation Wizaed is, and the link
you gave saysI need to get the phone number from Australia from there. Can
you please enlighten me?

Many Thanks and Merry Christmas.

The activation wizard is the little program within the program that prompts
you to type in your product key and then it contacts Microsoft to validate
your copy. I should have realized that "Big Kiwi" wouldn't have been an
American. Who wants a screen name of a fruit, although a yummy one? ;-)

Hi
Thanks again for your help. I shall head down that path.

Kiwi, when referring to fruit, is actually a shortened name from Kiwifruit.

A true Kiwi is a small flightless bird that lives in forests in New Zealand
and is the country's national animal. So as I am 6'7" tall and a NZer I
qualify as a Big Kiwi, but not a big fruit.

I hope you have a great Christmas, and thanks so much for your help. :)

Cheers

Simon T.
