Can I restart page nos in the middle of a PowerPoint presentation

I have two presentations in one file. I need to restart the numbering in the
second presentation. Is this possible and how can it be done?

Not really, but can you create two separate presentations and then link
them? Do explain further, and we'll see if there could be workarounds.
