Can I restore photos I have deleted from an SD card?

Using Office Picture Manager I blundered and deleted photos from an SD card?
These did not go in re-cycle bin and seem to be lost - anything I can do here?

For sure you can.. get the CD that you used to back up your pictures, and
place it in the CD drive..

I do not know. However, a Goggle search for: recover files SD card - returns
some programs that claim to recover files such as:

http://www.photosrecovery.com/

Some offer free trials to verify that the program will work for you.

If you've not used the SD card since deleting the files, there's every
chance you can recover the images.

When you delete a file from an SD card, it does not really delete the file,
it only 'marks' the file/area as "OK to write over next time the space/area"
is needed.

All you need is software to 'un-mark for deletion' the individual files.

Thanks Don - you're a star. This program has worked - the photos I deleted
were of my mothers 70th birthday so you can imagine the fuss if I had lost
them for good!

Owe you a virtual beer!

I recommend that you use DataRecoveryWizard to recover your data.
The software provides very useful functions for data recovery:
DeleteRecovery, FormatRecovery, AdvancedRecovery, RawRecovery.

This program is an efficient disk recovery software providing
you a complete answer to data loss.

First thing I recommend you download the demo version of
DataRecoveryWizard. (http://www.easeus.com/download.htm)

Run the program and select the recovery mode "DeletedRecovery",
or "FormatRecovery", or "AdvancedRecovery".
