Is it is possible to run both PPT 2000 and 2003 on my
computer? I currently have 2003 but often need to dummy
down for presentation that I deliver to other users.

No problem at all (provided you own both versions). I run all versions of
PPT from 97 up on my computers for similiar reasons. But you need to install
them in order of oldest to newest. Because MS office takes many of its
settings/drivers/and other hidden items from whichever version is installed
last.

That said, install Office 2000. For efficiency choose CUSTOM install and opt
to only install PPT. Then install Office 2003. Again choose CUSTOM install
and when prompted check the box to 'keep old versions.' Done.

That's what I always used to suggest, but the following has actually worked
out just as well for me.

With 2003 installed, do a custom install of Office 2000 or PPT 2000 and set
it to install to a different folder than 2003 is in. Then in 2003 go to
Help/Detect and Repair and run a repair of Office 2003.
