Can I see file name of inserted movie file?

Bill Weylock

I¹ve got 20 short wmv files embedded in my presentation. I think I may have
better versions of some of them, but in order to check that, I need to know
the exact name of the file I¹ve inserted. I can¹t tell from the image,
because I have more than one version of each clip.

Any way I can get PP to display the file name or properties of the movie
file? Only help entry I could find was referring to clip art.

Thanks.

The start of the movie is treated like an animation, thus the file names
should be listed in the animation task pane (Slide show - Custom animation).
If there is more than one movie per slide, click on the movie to highlight
the corresponding name.

Kind regards,

Brilliant! I saw that, but I didn¹t dare. :)

I figured it might instantly convert it to something horrible the way Word
converts anything it edits to a pict file on the Mac side.

Thanks. Perfect quick answer.

Right click the movie object and select Edit Movie Object.
