Can not display activities in OL2003

Hi

When I try to view the activities of a contact in OL2003 SP1 I get an error
that OL can not display this view and it stays on the selected tab before.

Also if I try to use the search function I get an error that the
Messaging-Program... returns an error ...

Does somebody know how to repair these 2 errors.
I already tried the automatic repair feature of OL ... did not help.
