can not reset URL's in ie6 links. Can move but will not hold

Having problems making changes to the order of the URL's in the Links folder.
I can move the URL's up but they do not change position on the shown Links
in IE6. I have turned Off the "Lock the Toolbars" but either way, I can not
move the URL's into the order I want. OS is Windows XP Pro.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal

After furious head scratching, Bittersweet II asked:
