can not save

hi i got a problem with one of our pupils accounts

everytime he uses publisher and trys to save he cant he is getting a message
saying make sure the disk is not full or you have the right permissions now i
have deleted his user account and his N:\ saving his files on my account and
then recreating his user account and N:\ drive and it still wont work as well
as changing the profile the only permission on his n:\ drive are him self
domain administrators domian admins and the teaching staff they are all
groups expect for the user account obs he has full control over the folder
but yet its just he cant save this one document into it but he can save
everything else into you can even make a publisher document and save it and
also rename it you can also rename the one he cant save which is weird we
really dont know what to do all the students profiles are the same hope you
can answer my question

Hi. Firstly, could you please learn to use full stops and capital
letters? Perhaps once you have mastered these, you could move on to
commas and question marks. Use of these would make your question far
easier to read, and hence far easier to answer.

Publisher has never like working on a LAN, particularly when it comes to
saving directly across it. Results tend to be unpredictable, as you have
observed. Publisher 2003 was supposed not to exhibit this problem, but
it seems it still lingers on. The best solution is to save to a local
hard drive, and then copy to the network drive.

If that's not possible, you're going to have to try sniffing around with
FileMon from www.sysinternals.com and see whether there are any clues as
to which folders need which privileges.
