Can one use a form on MS Word program after designing one?

Unlike Onmiform programs, where you can create a form and then fill the form out without causing the form itself to change, I find that I cannot use "protect form" to enable me to fill in the form without having form elements move, thereby basically destroying the form. Is there a way to "lock up" fhe form so that I can then actually enter data in the form. Or can one only use the MS Word Form creator to make forms for the web or printing and filling out by hand?

Hi Harry

Set up one or more tables, turn off their cell borders if desired, and set
their row heights to Exact values. Put each form field into a separate cell.
