In Outlook 2003, I was able to configure (in my registry) the program to
minimize to the system tray when minimized. Can OneNote also be reduces to
the systray in this fashion?

Chris,

I don't have Side Note in my system tray. Could this have something to do
with which version I'm using? I have 2003 (11.5510.5606) that came with our
Microsoft Action Pack Subscription.

Thank you for your assistance,

E Robinson

The Side Note should be available regardless of which version you have. I
would recomend applying SP1 to OneNote ASAP because of the incredible
updates it adds to the program.

There have been previous posts regarding people who have not been able to
get the side note to appear in the system tray. I have also experienced the
same thing. Run Detect and Repair under the Help menu first to see if that
fixes it. Then apply SP1 and see what happens.

Good luck

You won't Elizabeth, unless you open OneNote, select Options and go to the
Other listing, then put a check mark in Place OnteNote icon in the
notification area of the Taskbar. Exit by OK, then restart OneNote.
