Can the timescale be hidden or frozen

Hi, doesn anyone know if the timescale can have any columns hidden or frozen?
I am making a PDF so I can post my project on our intranet but I only want
the certain time to show. I also cannot edit the PDF even though I should be
able to.
Thanks,

April,
Since the timescale is along the horizontal I'm not quite sure what you
mean by hiding [vertical] columns. The only way to edit Project's
timescale is via Format/Timescale. The Help button will guide you
through the various settings.

Double clicking on the timescale will bring up all the options. You can
configure what is shown, but can NOT freeze any of those settings. PDF's are
usually not editable unless you have PDF editing software. If you are opening
it with adobe reader, you won't be able to edit the PDF.

Even if you have a PDF editor, you may not be able to edit the timescale as
it may be an image.

Hi,

You may mean can I pront only a certain slice of time?
If that's what you mean, in the Print... window there are From-To dates.
Hope this helps,
