can you link a slide to another slide.. as in a table of contents

i am trying to link a table of contents to a slide... i saw the page xx of yy
and the hjumper add-in. i downloaded them and will read about install. but
are those add-in part of microsoft? why doesnt microsoft just include them
in the powerpoint program?? i am using 2003. i want to be able to click on
the contents line of a certain sllide and it jump to it and then somehow get
back to table with a buttom on that slide. does powerpoint to that?

You can use action setting to link a slide to another slide.
To do so, highlight the content you want to click on.
Right click on the words and click action settings.
Select "Hyperlink to:".
Click the drop-down and select "slide...".
Select the slide you want to link to and click OK.
Is that what you want?
