Can you set spell check for charts

B

Bill Dilworth

You can not directly use spell check within a PowerPoint chart, but you can
have it tell you what is misspelled by making a copy of the chart and
ungrouping it. (This will not really ungroup it, just cause it to be
converted to a drawing object instead of a chart object)

To ungroup it (always work off of a copy, not your original) right click it
and select ungroup. This will make all the elements visible to the spell
checker. Make notes as to which fields need to be corrected and fix them on
the original.
