Can You Use Dreamweaver etc on FP created Webs

As a complete newbie to making web pages i started of with FP2002. However i
have recently see several web sites templates created with Dreamweaver etc
and i think Flash has something to do with it!
Can anyone help explain if these programs are compatable with FP2002 created
sites or am i looking at a completely new site design. Also my site is
hosted on an FP provider.......does this mean a change of hosting facilities
if i want to use "flash" pages?
Any help ( in idiots terms please) would be greatly appreciated.

I can answer one question - you can use Flash on an FP site or essentially
any other web site.
