Cannot Delete Emails from Outlook 2003

Hello,

I was wondering whether anyone can help me.

I am using Outlook 2003 (with XP professional) – I am also using a pop 3 set
up and back up my emails every couple of weeks by exporting everything as a
..pst file.

Since a couple of hours ago I haven’t been able to delete any emails – an
error message appears (unknown error message).

Initially I thought it may be some kind of virus and I ran a few scans using
Spybot, Adware and Panda Software’s online virus checker but nothing was
revealed.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
