Cannot delete folders !!!

When trying to delete several folders using the FILE/DATA FILE MANAGEMENT
menu option, we receive the error message that the folder cannot be deleted
because it is associated with a mail account. We are then instructed to go
to the TOOLS/MAIL ACCOUNTS and delete it there. However, we have deleted
all the mail accounts and still cannot delete the folders because of this
message. Any ideas on how we can get rid of these inactive folders?

Make sure Outlook is closed and that the folder is not set as the default
Mail Delivery Folder
