This computer is new to me, although not new. I bought it from Tiger direct.
I have never downloaded Office xp on this computer. I have downloaded this
program on my old computer several times.
So if I have not used anything previously, then what do I need to do?

If you don't have a qualifying product, then you need a full version of
Office, not an upgrade.
