Cannot enter Subject when composing/replying

I'm a new user of Outlook 2002 and cannot figure out what I did to make the
Subject line of all my new messages and replies disappear but - help! - it
did disappear.

How do I get it back? All I see is "To:" and nothing else, and all my
messages go out with blank subjects.

Create a new message and clcik View-> Message Header
