Cannot find program to install

Office 2007.
I tried to run setup.exe, it said cannot find program to install, or ask
administrator for help.
Any idea?

Are you trying to install from the CD? If so, it is an authentic Microsoft
CD?

It is a copy. All files are copied into harddisk.

Is this because I put into harddisk rather than run from CD?
