OS = W2K (5 users), Excel 2000. Excel works fine with all
but 1 user which, when attempting to open an Escel file
from outside of Excel, receives an error message similar
to Cannot find the file *.xls (or one of its componets).
(MS KB Article - 296055.) I've "run " excel /unregserver
and excel /regserver as reccommended in 296055 (both from
the user loging and admistrator login with negative
results. I've uninstalled and re-installed Excel with
negative results and Office with negative results. After
each attempt, Excel worked fine with the exception of the
1 user. I would greatly appreciate any help on resolving
this without having to format the drive (such as a
possible registry edit).
