Cannot import .ost file

Hi,

I have an Outlook user who had a sizeable .ost file stored
on the laptop. I have had to rebuild the profile for this
user but when I try to browse to the existing .ost file
for use I get the error "Cannot import .ost file as it was
created for another mailbox"

Is there a way round this?

Delete the ost-file and synchronise again with Exchange to create a new one.
An ost-file is nothing more than a copy of the Exchange mailbox for off-line
use.

Hi Roady,

Thanks for the reply. The user had actually pulled all
mails from the server and moved them to a personal folder
which was lost. I did, however find the following utility
to help:
http://www.xcopy32.com/email/ost2pst.exe

Yes, but that utility is illegal. It is from OfficeRecovery and is not a
