Cannot Open Any More Tables?

I'm putting together a report that is pretty much a sheet of totals based on
2 base tables. The report is broken down by Subdivision and Phase, and has a
total of 22 rows (each row is a subreport). Each row(subreport) has 33
columns of totals, ex: Total Lots, Model Homes, Un-Available Lots... Each of
the totals is derived from it's own query. After inserting 17 subreports
into the main report, it's showing me an error when I try to print that says
'Cannot Open Any More Tables'. I am able to preview the report, but all
subreports after the 17th print blank. Is this just too much for Access to
handle? Is there any way to simplify my database by running macros or code
to calculate the totals into a table rather than running queries for each?
