I bought MS Office 2003 off the shelf 3 months ago.
Installed successfully and activated with MS.

I uninstalled twice and reinstalled OK. Now yesterday I
try to open Word and it tells me it cannot open registry
key: (HKEY_CURRENT_USER) is the message.

What should I do to resolve this problem. I've tried
uninstalling and it won't let me, giving me the same
error message.

Hello,

Please try the following: Open the registry editor (START - RUN - REGEDIT)
and goto the parent key of the specific key. Right click on that, select
PERMISSIONS; check for the listing of the group name: ADMINISTRATORS; if
it is not there, click on ADD and add the administrators group. After that
user is displayed, select FULL permissions for that user; then click on
ADVANCED button and select the option for replacing the permissions on
child objects. Click on OK twice. If there is no error message, then
proceed for the uninstallation/reinstallation of the applications.

Please let me know whether this helps.
