I've been using Outlook 2000 for with the same settings
for a very long time with no problem. I have three e-mail
accounts that I use. One day, one of them gave me this
error message:
* 1 message(s) coulnd't be retreived from the server.
This usually happens when the connection to the server is
lost due to server error or network problems.
* A tcp/ip error has occurred while trying to send data
to the server. (account: accountname, pop3
server:servername.org, error number: 0x800ccc13)
I can still SEND mail, just not receive. Neither of the
other two accounts has a problem. The numerous other
accounts on other computers around here, which all use
the same service provider, have no problems. I have no
firewall software that would block anything, and the port
settings for the account are all correct. I uninstalled
Outlook Express, deleted its registry keys, reinstalled
it. I deleted the account and recreated it. Now what?
Thanks!
