CANNOT REGISTER OFFICE 2000 WITH PRODUCT KEY

I have xp home edition cannot register microsoft office 2000-small business
despite the fact that i have the key number. I don't think this product was
ever registered.

What happens when you try? Are you trying to use the key on the case of your
computer? If so, that's the WINDOWS key not the Office key. And I presume
you mean Activation (did Office 2000 HAVE activation?) and not
registration?
