Cannot reply or forward messages

I cannot reply or forward messages in Outlook. When I
try it automatically says Outlook has encountered a
problem and needs to close. I have installed all the
latest updates and don't know what to do. I don't have a
problem reading messages.

Shelby,
This happens because MS Word is your default mail editor,
change that and problem resolved.
I had the same issue awhile back...

Thanks for your reply Sal!
I can't even change that. When I go into Options under
tools and then to Mail Format it does the same thing
(error and closes) do you know of any other way I can
change this? By the way Im running Office XP.

Forget it, thanks for your help, it worked!!
All I did was change it from Microsoft Word.
