Cannot run powerpoint presentation sent to me

I have received a power point presentation via e-mail and
it will not run on my system. It gives me a runt ime
error and then bombs out. I have a laptop running XP, I
have tried this on 2 other laptops in the company all
running XP and we all have the same problem. However, it
runs fine on a PC using the same version of powerpoint
(2002) but running on windows 98. Can anyone help ????????

Sooo, the main clue is the pres runs on Win 98 but not on Win XP. There's no
good reason for this, although the XP security model comes to mind.

What if you open the file on Win 98 then Save As a new file name?
