Cannot see graphic after inserting in publisher

I cannot see the graphic after inserting into the document using publisher,
and also I did a flyer two days before without any problems seeing the
pictures, but when I saved and closed it. When I reopened the file the
graphics were not in the flyer. I have tried using the order/sending to
front and that does not work.

I have seen this problem recently on some new workstations. A user inserts a
graphic into a Word document and the graphic doesn't show but when you do
print preview it does. I have found if you
Right click on your desktop, select Properties, Settings. Click on the
Advanced buton.
Click on the Troubleshoot tab. You should see Hardware Acceleration. As
default it is set to Full. I have adjusted it down a bit, once I do that,
graphics now show up in document. Our workstations are Dell Optiplex GX280.
Just a thought.
