Cannot send email to hotmail.com

Hi,
After setup smtp server(IIS 5) , I can send email out except hotmail.com
from outlook 2000. Why? thanks

Outlook 2000 doesn't support Hotmail. See

Do you mean to say that sending email from Outlook 2000 through an IIS SMTP
server can't go to one of the Hotmail MX servers? Or am I not understanding
the original question?

Well, I for one had trouble understanding the original question, so perhaps
it is my shortcoming, not yours.

Yes, I mean sending email from Outlook 2000 through an IIS SMTP
server can't go to one of the Hotmail MX servers. No errors at all.
Actually in outlook task status it said sending email completed.

Turn on diagnostic logging (http://support.microsoft.com/?id=240347) and see
if it actually got transmitted to the server. If so, you know it's not an
Outlook issue.
