cannot send email

Help, we can receive email, but cannot send. we use
outlook, not express. error message 0x800ccc78 server
server response 530. this just came up out of nowhere,
was working well this morning? Please advise

I am getting similar error after I upgraded my MS Office
2000 to MS office XP. I cannot send any email using SMTP
server.

The 0x800ccc78 indicates that the server is rejecting the address that you
want to send the mail from. Could you turn on diagnostic logging (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q300479) and post
the OPMLog.log file (preferably as an attachment) after trying to send?
