Cannot "send" with CC: address

Within Word, I try to send document as an attachment.
With an address in the "cc" address feild, I am unable to
"send" the E-mail. The "send" button does NOT activate ...

The only way I am able to send, is if I exit and save, re-open
within Outlook. Then I am able to hit the "send" button and
the E-mail is actualy sent.
