cannot view message content using options

in OE6 I can use message properties to view headers and message ascii
text. This I believe is done without "opening" a message?

In Outlook 2002 I can use options to view the header but cannot view the
ascii text. Is there a way do do this. Again I am trying to view a
message content withour actyually opening it.
