Can't access Newsletter links (CID's)

When I receive a newsletter with built-in links of the format: <A
href="cid:[email protected]">, I can't open the link. When I click on the
link, nothing happens at all. Others on the list have no problems.

I'm running Outlook 2000, fully patched. Any ideas on where to go to fix
this?
