Can't Assign Error

I have a form that is based on a tenant table. Now all of a sudden it has
started to give me the following message when I go to add a new record.

"You Can't Assign a value to this object......" followed by several possible
reasons why. Now once I click OK it will allow me to enter the data without
any other problem.

Any one know what would cause this. Again it is a subform loading a table
and its properties are set to allow updating and editing.
