Can't change my first estimated duration/date in Project

Sorry - 1st time user. I entered my lists of tasks in project, but am having
trouble going back to change the duration and start dates for both individual
tasks and phases i have created. Any solutions are appreciated.

Hello R,
You can't change the Duration of Summary tasks because it is calculated by
Project.
Don't enter dates in the Start and Finish fields. Enter relationships in the
Predecessors column.
