Can't connect Project 2007 to ProjectServer 2007 using Vista

I have Project 2007 on my desktop and on my laptop. The desktop runs XP the
laptop runs Vista. Took me ages via VPN to even see projectserver web access
but can do that now. However it doesn't matter whether I'm in the office or
working away using the VPN. Project appears to connect up to projectserver
but when you try to open a project you get the message: 'The file could not
be opened' and the only option is 'OK' and sadly it isn't okay at all. Can
anyone help?

Hello herbgarden,

As you are using Project Server, I suggest reposting your question to
the Project Server newsgroup if you haven't already.

Although most of the folks who answer questions here do frequent all
groups, the server "gurus" are more focused on the server newsgroup and
you may get a quicker response there.
